🎶 Currently listening to Lizzy McAlpine's new album, Angel, for the second time. So far it's everything I hoped it would be and more. It feels more hopeful than Older, and most of the songs give me the best kind of goosebumps.

I've started playing the piano again, and this time I solemnly swear I won't let my inner critic stop me from having fun: https://kedara.eu/cheerful-fumbling/

Hi all, I've just moved to social.lol from a self-hosted instance, so it's time
for an updated #introduction
One of my big passions is writing: I have a personal website @
https://kedara.eu where I #blog, tend a #DigitalGarden and web weave a #wiki ,
and try to contribute to the #Indieweb #smallweb communities.
I'm very much into #yoga and #meditation and everything related to that. I'm
trying to learn #Sanskrit because its a beautiful language and also in order to
be able to read text like the #BhagavadGita #Upanishads #YogaSutras
#BhagavataPurana which greatly inspire me.
I'm from the #Netherlands and work in #science in the field of outdoor
#AirQuality I may occasionally share something about that, but this is not a
work account (and any opinions are my own).
I love #photography and am slowly getting back into #AnalogPhotography again,
mostly related to #nature #weather #clouds #trees and other beautiful moments,
people and things. I love the #forest, I'm grateful to live at the edge of the
beautiful #Veluwe nature area.
Unfortunately I'm operating at half power thanks to #LongCovid since Feb. '22,
so some of my hobbies are in "partial maintenance mode".
Let me know if you have similar interests and I'll be happy to chat!

@Fragglemuppet@fandom.ink I liked "House in the Cerulean Sea" and it's sequel, plus "Under the whispering door", all by TJ Klune. Links to my mini reviews here: https://kedara.eu/meaning-of-life/#under-the-whispering-door

@xandra@tilde.zone As are you! I really like what you've done with the cafe and the magazine. It's been a joy to read everyone's articles there, thank you for all your efforts.

@xandra@tilde.zone @jamesg.blog This was another lovely chat! I enjoyed both episodes so far, it's so nice to learn more about the folks weaving the personal web (and to know what they sound like!). Looking forward to the next episodes.
"My faith in humanity is restored everytime I browse the indieweb" -> yes, I love this so much about the indieweb! There's a certain welcoming and accepting spirit of celebrating diversity; I hope we can keep that going indefinitely in the future.
