Vegans on here, are there any vegan cookbooks you would recommend? I'm asking because I usually cook either rice with vegetables or spaghetti with vegetables, with the same few kinds of vegetables and spices every time, and I'd like to have more variety. #Vegan #AskFedi #VeganCookbook

I own a certified android phone (as of today, not connected to a google account anymore). If I understand it correctly, all apps I use (currently sourced from fdroid) will stop functioning this year or next year.
I would like to know if there's any way to avoid this. Will I need to buy a new phone, and, if so, are there any manufacturers that guarantee that non-playstore apps will continue to function?

What I suggested above would be a lot of (extra) work, and I wouldn't want you to waste time on that. I appreciate your photos, and one can see how much care you put into making every single one.

@futurebird I scimmed through the paper https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/sciadv.aec6277 that I found because it was cited on the english wikipedia page for prototaxites. I'm fascinated, because apparently these terrestrial organisms are completely distinct from all extant lifeforms. "[...]we demonstrate that P. taiti is structurally distinct from all known Fungi[...] we suggest that Prototaxites is best considered a member of a previously undescribed, independent and extinct lineage of complex multicellular eukaryotes"
