7yo took a picture of me and then sent me this lolol
i uh... i just watched a guy in a visibility vest use a saw on a telescope pole on a large pine branch four meters up… while standing right under it. with the expected outcome. luckily it just grazed him
i've been annoyed with my legs refusing the HRT, thinking that it's another way my body's reacting in an unusual way. but after starting some "proper" running sessions plus resistance training, and having to redesign the leg exercises again and again because i'm way ahead of what i was made to expect, i've realised i just have very strong legs… which makes sense i guess with how much i've used them in the last 35 year
it's a really nice reframe once i saw it. like, now i know why skirts are so much trickier than pants
i don't post much. but when i do, i still don't post much
this was a challenging and exhausting day. but i brought my best self and did really good :blobcathearts:
swedish elections soon. it's nice being outside of that whole thing for the first time in two decades. except for the posters on lawns everywhere and some flyers in my mailbox i haven't really noticed the campaigning at all. i usually ended up taking a few steps back right around the elections because i couldn't stand the intensity and exposure of it all, but actually being completely out of the loop is a very different experience
one funny thing i've noticed is how when i talk about my experiences with psychological abuse like gaslighting and DARVO etc, strangers will occasionally show up to talk at length about how i'm actually wrong in what i'm saying, implying that it's really just in my head, and what i'm saying is actually kind of offensive to them, and so on you know?
and that's funny because i guess it's another mind reading method! when i talk about being exposed to that kind of abuse, people who expose others to that kind of abuse apparently get annoyed, and at least sometimes they get so annoyed that they'll self-report… and then i will magically learn what's inside their heads
i love being a mind reader 😙
i sometimes end up in front of a tv with ad breaks (including youtube's own app) and it's such a jarring experience, i can't believe i was once acclimatised to watching stuff like that
suddenly:
- self-isolating
- feeling very lonely
- drained of mental energy and struggling to get out of bed at all
- can (almost exclusively) remember only days when i've felt just like this
took me a while to spot it but, yes this must be some dissociative stuff going on
what's even neater about this is that since gravity and time are the same phenomenon (thanks einstein), time flows slower in high gravity areas! just a fraction of a millisecond per century, but still
i've been running out of supplements and haven't had enough money lately for refills, so i've been able to learn more about their effects
two weeks ago i ran out of NAC, one week ago the multivitamins with methylated b vitamins. and since yesterday i'm back to the way i was before autumn last year when i started taking them: struggling to get up and move around the house, needing at least an hour or two just to get out the door for a walk. i'm sleepy all the time even though i've increased my ritalin dosage
i'll be able to order refills next week, but gosh, this is profound
oof, feels like nothing ever happens, but what's actually happening is that nothing really changes, although things are constantly changing, but they are like changing in the same way all the time iykwim? anyway with how much it is changing ask the time it is exhausting trying to adapt to this perpetually unpredictable flood of chaotic sameness, wasn't noise supposed to be relaxing. did i accidentally get punk life noise instead of the pink one
this meme showed up and i assumed it was a mockup... but no. lol
haven't finished watching but i already wanna do it too
