@futurebird@sauropods.win recall, it was revealed that google made search worse deliberately, so that people spend more time searching,so that google can serve more ads (pre genAI).
I honestly don't see any way out of this hole without the breakup or destruction of the big search providers.
We can turn to smaller providers,and maybe PAY for search, but...dang.
