A fun-packed Saturday at Green Man
- a 3k run round the beautiful GM site
- fun getting into various festival wifi sites
- some great bands including Tamikrest, Pigeon, Belair Lip Bombs, Daniel Avery, Mannequin Pussy, Bathing Suits, Sorry and Dame Area
- caught up with all my homies and met some new people
- hot sweaty fun at Mannequin Pussy moshpit and Dame Area
- plus Mannequin Pussy and Sorry had updated their sets and both sounded really great

@TheBreadmonkey@beige.party I hadn't fallen madly in love with *any* artists this #greenMan2026, but then I saw Automatic singer Izzy Glaudini. Sigh.
The drummer is quite a dreamboat, too.
@substandardnerd@mastodon.social any good photos gratefully received.

#greenMan2026 plan for today: Automatic, Everything is Recorded, Panic Shack, Scientist, Tara Clerkin, Wednesday, Fcukers, and some combo of Wolf Alice, Sparks and Tricky.
I would usually have a kedgeree from Goan Fish Curries this time on a Sunday as is traditional, but I'm not in the mood today
A bit of a mixed day. Several acts that didn't wow me, including Alexis Taylor, Everything is Recorded and Scientist. Blown away by Bathing Suits (many sweaty bum cracks in the house) and enjoyed Tara Clerkin Trio.
Now chillaxerating in the tent before Fcukers and Wolf Spark Tricky.
The Daniel Avery set is amazing. #greenMan2026
The Internet is BACK baby. Let's just say I joked that the WiFi password for the mixing desk was probably on a post-it note and that wasn't too far from the truth.
Just watched Tamikrest, who were amazing with North African beats and amazing musicianship. Next is Bug Club, which may be an anticlimax.
Great day at #greenman2025. Highlights were ear, Shame, Prostitute and Pigeon. And I lasted past midnight!
From previous festivals it was Moshpit 5, Libre Glucose sensor 1. (I escaped from the Lambrini Girls pit early without having my sensor ripped out of my arm.)
This year I wrapped a fabric hair wrap round my arm and it's been a great success. Survived three energetic pits intact.
Is beige party a bit broken today? I can't upload images.
Really enjoying Nation of Language at #greenMan2026. I tried to persuade Edward to come because he loves twiddly synths, but he was too fatigued. Lovely OMD vibes, and even better live than on recordings IMO
Lunch (spinach and chickpea curry wrap) in the secret-ish woods, a peppermint tea before Belair Lip Bombs. Nice to take it easy for a bit. #greenMan2026
After a long chat at the bar with friends of friends we zipped to Round The Twist for an excellent but hot and sweaty RTT Session with Margate's finest Pigeon #greenMan2026

I somewhat ruined family games night by scoring 176 points for a single play in Scrabble. #competitiveDad
The Daniel Avery set is amazing. #greenMan2026
Any hot rumours @substandardnerd@mastodon.social @DamonHD@mastodon.social ? I'm thinking of going to the Bathing Suits RTT session.
My review of Everything is Recorded is slightly less succinct than "shit sandwich".
Ego wank project.
