Made a button box for #EliteDangerous earlier.

The left vertical slider is the throttle.

I changed the switches on the right from the original design, so they're now:

• Top: Landing Gear / Cargo Scoop
• Bottom: Ship Lights / Night Vision

Considering it a prototype for now (likely going to split it up into a "throttle box" and "systems box" later), so I'm not gonna clean it up / cable manage it.

@JellyTBeagle I think this explains why I've gotten into woodworking (and mostly with hand tools).

@JellyTBeagle it takes some time and it's easy to waste wood early on, but it's surprisingly nice how tangible the progress is (and the output, too!). I wanna learn how to consistently grow herbs and whatnot - I had tried mint and chives and I seem to suck at it. Don't have much space for it either. Maybe I should give it another shot - could set up something with grow lights in my garage. If I could get to the point of leaf lettuce and cherry tomatoes that would be super nice.

@pierstoval Holy crap this is way too accurate.

@knutaf could try freezing one - a gentle oven reheat in a loose wrap of aluminum foil probably would get it into a pretty good state.
