Do you. Screw the rest.
When social media is a bullshit dynamic, just do what you want to do creatively and forget the rest.

X-Wing is still such a great game and a wild story of how money, management and really bad decisions can kill something seemingly unkillable.

Play tested Raid Metal today with 'Period 1' tanks (WWII) and... it worked really bloody well. A few on the fly rule amendments but we got through 3 games with a range of tanks and could not be happier with the overall game play.
Breaking this out again because it's right up there on the fun pew pew game scale, as long as you don't get 'all serious'. An old friend, who turns out to be quite the dude on the local scene, is very graciously helping get our stuff all updated.

@smilingdemon@mastodon.art @ewen@social.ewenbell.com Oh man I hear you. But you know, I kinda put my foot down and said enough is enough, I can'keep letting things and ideas slip, time's finite and is going to run out at some point. So I am really making an effort to do the things that are meaningful to me, even if they offer nothing at all tangible.

@mbt3d I think it's failing as a distraction from the orange baboon screaming in the corner. Let's call it a somewhat pointless joyride.
Go and follow @Mooovooom Their sketch work is out there, often strange and mostly sublime. I love it to bits! https://pixelfed.social/p/Mooovooom/939722088969880763
