@kepano@mastodon.social and the content on there has been on a steady decline. Can’t remember when I checked it the last time and found something actually interesting or useful.

@nileane@nileane.fr is buddy comparing hate crimes to … kids being annoying?

@irelephant @rebane2001@infosec.exchange or you could use a better browser. At this point I would rather use edge.

This article might be of interest to you then. Core idea is that that AI in its current meaning is antithetical to open source as it has been understood or free software as it was defined by the FSF. You know, because if they told you everything they trained on, someone motivated should start looking for the entire Harry Potter universe in there just to name a prominent example that has already been in the news for Anthropic specifically.

@nileane@nileane.fr … how do people come up with this? Like. People wrote the Saw movies. There is a guy who wrote Human centipede. These people exist and they have some pretty wild imagination skills.
But how does one arrive at „let’s use technology to analyze bone structures - for age verification of course“ AND THEN ACTUALLY DO IT.

@simonbs@mastodon.social now they just need to approve it … I have an idea or two in mind myself.

@viticci as a Mac and Windows user let me tell you: I jumped ship to Apple Music from Spotify because I found that all of their interfaces are bad.
So unfortunately Apple Music is the alternative I had to settle for. At least they don’t try to ram podcasts and audiobooks down my throat to boost my session time or whatever they tell their shareholders that it is they doubled last year.

@hagen also Hagen mach dich nicht lächerlich.
@nileane@nileane.fr no clue - but at least they produced an actual working windows binary. Also Arc is (allegedly) already old news and Dia will be used by Matt’s mom (and probably nobody else).
Also if there is one thing that Atlassian does not care about it’s people jacking their stuff. As long as [whatever Fortune 500 company]‘s Jira enterprise plan with 10k seats stays active - they will not be bothered.

@agiletortoise@mastodon.social Cool. Reviews for software based on the experience shaped by broken middleware. Sounds useful. Would recommend.

@simonbs@mastodon.social I connected it to my uptime kuma instance so I know when Claude goes down 😂
I experienced some weirdness with it though that I will have to do some more testing on because I am not sure if I am the problem.

@nileane@nileane.fr they have been ok for quite some time (at least for some manufacturers).
Most of them are also simply to small. To this day Lenovo is shipping Thinkpads with minuscule trackpads. There would be enough space if it were not for the stupid mouse buttons.

@nileane@nileane.fr wow for all the privacy and transparency shit they throw at Google and the other usual suspects… a post on their main socials would have gone a long way.
When is my proton VPN sub up for renewal again?

@nileane@nileane.fr I know. I just already heard people saying France played shitty. They didn’t. Spain just gave them nothing to do anything useful with. They choked the entire team for 90 minutes.

@nileane@nileane.fr ngl Spain winning that is my best case scenario.
Can’t stand that Argentina squad.
