@Tijn@dosgame.club I hear you. I took yesterday afternoon off on off since my kids finished school early (1pm), so I picked them up, took them to lunch, then went to a petting farm. Was completely out of energy by 6pm!

@Tijn@dosgame.club @janbeta@chaos.social I moderate the Nikon subreddit, where we have a No AI rule. Someone yesterday posted a link to their github where they vibe coded some app that connects to Nikon cameras, which I then removed.
The guy lost it in modmail, posted his story on some AI-focused subreddit, cross-posted it to /r/enshittification (0 votes) and a couple of other subreddits that no one upvoted it on, but the AI subreddit he posted got a handful of votes. He then plugged his free "scientific paper" about AI that's hosted on Substack (I doubt he wrote that) in the comments.

There’s this specific place on the Hume Freeway near my house where wireless CarPlay will drop out (or just the audio stops playing), turns out anyone using wireless CarPlay or wireless Android Auto is experiencing the same thing. https://www.reddit.com/r/melbourne/comments/1qbgn7i/wireless_android_auto_and_the_epping_fruit_and/
Melbourne Markets is spewing interference, hoping that CarPlay 27 with its claim of better connectivity will mitigate/fix this issue.

@andyb@mastodon.au That is so shit. I’ve had tradies come to my house and ask to use the bathroom when they finish a job (or sometimes, half way through), and I always say yes. We’re all human beings. I don’t expect you to piss yourself.

While playing a game on my iPhone, an ad started playing so I put my phone down. When I picked it up again, it looked like this.
Now this is an ad from Apple, but it totally looked like my phone was booting up / restarting.

How do so many younger folk / teenagers walk around with their shoelaces untied? Have they never stepped on an untied shoelace, and fall flat on their face? Surely you would learn your lesson and then make sure your shoes are tied. #oldmanyellsatcloud

@decryption@aus.social And (according to Google Maps) you only save 15 minutes each way. Thievery.

@tomnorthfilm@mastoart.social That term gives me anxiety too, mainly because at my $dayjob if a database table is ‘dropped’, it means it’s been deleted.

@andyb@mastodon.au Funny how the rules are expected to be bent a little when it benefits them, but are set in stone when you need a little leeway.
EDIT: better words

@juliancalaby@social.treehouse.systems @decryption@aus.social Not sure if this is true with all Costcos, but my local (from what I’ve heard) don’t have facilities for alignment at all, regardless if the tyres were bought at Costco.
