@ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org I had one before I moved...I LOVED it. Nice, precise heat control. Super fast boiling. The majority of my pans were already stainless steel or cast iron, so I only really 'lost' one pan in the switch. Such a nice upgrade. One day I'll have power put behind the stove at the new place here. Was disappointed to find it only had gas.

@michael_w_busch @ai6yr @sarahtaber I drank raw milk for most of my youth, we got it directly from my uncle's milk tank. We didn't know any better. Raw milk is not safe. That's why we began pasteurizing it to begin with. It lasts longer before souring and is safer for everyone involved. Yes, most people never have a problem. But some die. I love the people who think drinking raw cow's milk is somehow more 'natural'. I don't think nature intended us to drink squeezing from herd animals.

Now the real question - does any of this shit work? I dunno. He said it had issues when he tried to set it up last. It was his father's who purchased the speakers and receiver in the late 1970s while he was in college. It doesn't matter. I can re-foam the Bose and service data is quite available for the Sansui. I'll fix up the CD player and tape deck if I can, but I don't care about those. I got this whole package for $500.00. SCORE if they work or not.
