PFP Alt text: A drawing of a girl with light skin, blue eyes with noticable dark circles, a prominent nose and long purple hair parted into curtains. She is wearing a pair of black over ear headphones, fingerless gloves with gel padding on the back, and a crop top with an image of a moth printed on it. She is covering her left eye with her forearm, and her mouth with her right forearm, and is staring intensely at the viewer with her visible eye.
Banner Alt text: The flag of the neurodiversity paradigm, a rainbow coloured infinity symbol set against a yellow background.

Strange how he got such a radical redesign when all the other Kongs look more or less identical to how they look in the games.

@mawr@plush.city @kit@sharkey.kitredgrave.net I don't think that's meant to be Cranky specifically? He mentions that DK is his son, and IIRC Cranky is the current Donkey Kong's grandfather.
Which I guess would make the old Kong in the film a really old Donkey Kong Jr or something, but I seriously doubt Illumination thought about that as much as I did making this post.
