Nah, the premise is "we fuck you and also you find out".
Or if we're trying to better fit the original formula, they must be permitted total license to fuck around because they can simulate finding out.

Same, except for the one time I was there at 3am. Daytime Waffle House is a very different experience than nighttime Waffle House.
Our car broke down on the way home and our waitress (now completely plastered) happened to be the person who first came across us.

The numbers are unmanageable, Mike. People are sending thousands of applications to get dozens of interviews for a few positions that then don't hire them.
On the hiring side, people are getting flooded with an unmanageable number of mostly-shit applications. They are spending weeks trying to find acceptable candidates, only to turn around and have management close the listing. They're going to "fill the gap with AI."
And it's not a fucking game. People are being driven into poverty. Or maybe it is; a shell game, rigged against the players and ruining their lives.
This is unacceptable, untenable.
I get that you're probably trying to be encouraging, but it doesn't sound like Peter's giving up. Just justifiably upset.
