@Saupreiss@pfalz.social @paulapiechotta.de Ich hatte auch ein wenig befürchtet, dass im Extremfall nach der Wahl in Sachsen-Anhalt alle Dämme brechen, sich verhaltene AfD-Fans nicht mehr zurückhalten, und alle Teil der "Bewegung" sein wollen. Das Ergebnis ist trotzdem eine Katastrophe und es darf sich niemand darauf ausruhen, aber ich hatte noch Schlimmeres befürchtet.

Our latest paper was finally published in Nature! --> https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-026-10356-3
We jumped on the #QuantumComputing bandwagon and demonstrated that we can do 2-qubit gates with very high fidelity in a system with cold fermionic atoms!
The special emphasis lies on the fermionic part - this could enable easier quantum simulation of other fermionic systems, like strongly correlated electrons! (That's basically everything interesting we would want to simulate)

I always have offline maps downloaded on my phone in case I get into very remote regions without any mobile internet connection - e.g. a village 50km west of Munich, Germany (a city with 1.6M inhabitants). (There is a joke that the coverage with mobile network in Germany is literally a net, so it has to have holes)

Also denke ich, dass jeder Akteur, der die Verfassungsfeindlichkeit der AfD feststellt, automatisch als links identifiziert wird.

I always try to exactly point out in which respect their work was exceptional, and that this was really not "normal", but I don't feel like it works.

For other stuff like shirts etc. I just buy from whichever shop the artist I want to buy from has chosen, if there are decent shipping fees and payment methods.

And in elementary school (when we were 8 or 9), before our first schooltrip, our teacher called all the girls and explained what the period was about and that it could start soon for some of us.

Also jetzt nur noch "bestimmt über 100" :D Aber da zähle ich auch nicht so richtig mit, dass ich einige Mangareihen mit jeweils einigen dutzend Bänden habe, da gehen 100 ganz schnell und nehmen gar nicht so viel Platz weg...
