Steam has issues, im not saying it doesnt, but holy shit it will never not be funny to me the whole gaming industry shooting themselves in the dick and crying that steam is somehow an unfair monopoly just because users get treated (mostly) well and steam makes games accessible and easy to buy and play.

I'm reading malware blogs through Google translate from Chinese and finding C2s that only exist on FOFA. I think I leveled up as a malware analyst....
welp, IR team couldnt do IR things, so i kinda went a little turbo and gave a 300 line update regarding the files they found, C2s involved, payload chains, hunting tips, and advisement on the potential for unknown C2s 🙃

@cxiao@infosec.exchange im currently building the training for all our analysts to go through to teach them how to do sample triage and extract useful IOCs and how that interfaces with our data sources. and building the justification for a few REs to help our detection pipeline and deal with the gross samples that don't play nice in the sandbox 🙃 the fact that im the most qualified malware person is terrifying 😅
