I love this (not so) #retrocomputing : A 1979 Sharp MZ 80C still in use in a Japanese textile factory 🤯
The cassettes next to it appear to contain a custom-made program to control a second machine. A punch connected to the Sharp creates a programming card which is then used to draw the weft of the fabric to be made in a loom. Several cassettes are visible, all of which seem to correspond to a fabric assembly base that can be reprogrammed.

« However, #RedHat has recently expressed their perspective that they ”do not find value in a #RHEL rebuild.” While we believe this view is narrow-minded, Red Hat has taken a strong stance and limited access to the sources for RHEL to only their paying customers. These sources primarily consist of upstream open source project packages that are not owned by Red Hat. » by @rockylinux@fosstodon.org
