While I continue to look for a new full time position, I would like to offer 1 hour tutoring sessions to help people get started with their first website.
$150 for 1 hour of one-on-one tutoring and assistance with web technologies:
- learn how to use HTML and CSS
- how to buy and set up a custom domain
- ways to get a web page online for free
- what the hell is Git and how to use it
You can book a session on my Calendly. Sessions start 4/13

Thank you for helping keep town running!

Use technology X or get left behind is such a weird threat.
If we were talking about business competitiveness, I'm pretty sure the bottom line is metric not what the tech stack is.
people still like floppy disks right?

I randomly met another raccoon.
It wasn't completely random.
It was a linux chat room.
Just because someone posts a link about something or comments about something -- does not mean it is the first time they've heard of the thing. :flan_facepalm:

I've learned that shopping sorted highest price to lowest price is really useful.
a) what's possible
b) get inspiration
c) quickly returning to reality because hell no I'm not paying that price

I am watching my partner play a video game (not-star wars) but the way the weather and and landscape looks I squaked "Oh this reminds me of Korriban!"

@benbrown I was out the other evening and got to make a recording of a frog choir. it was awesome.
I am very good at computers and technology. I am also skilled at turning business requirements into technical requirements.
What I am not good at is explaining the value I can bring to a company. I need a career coach to help with overhauling my resume and learning how to present myself as a professional.
I have found an experienced career coach to work with, but I need help covering her fee.
