In Argentina, we have a variety of Loxosceles that is also venomous; it's called the recluse spider. I've been bitten by many spiders in my life, but luckily, never by a very venomous one.

Let me introduce you to my youngest boy, Hakka. He's 9 years old and 5.7 kg (12.5 lb) of pure muscle. He doesn't hunt as much as his sisters, but he loves fighting with his friends on the rooftops. He's very gentle and affectionate with humans, but with other cats or strange dogs, he's a demon, a true martial artist.

Today I was seconds away from suffocating (and I don't even want to go into details, but it was due to one of my health problems). Autoimmune diseases progress inexorably, and one day you realize that every minute could be your last. Then you become aware that nothing really matters and nothing will remain.

You know you're getting old because your children no longer need you to solve their lives. And now they help you, they bring you food and they keep you company because they perceive you as vulnerable. On one hand, there's the sadness of slowly losing vitality, losing yourself, and on the other hand, the peace of mind of having that support in your later years and knowing that you didn't do so badly.

@catsalad@infosec.exchange Yesterday, an admin from an instance I don't want to name asked me, on behalf of all the admins and mods, to explain why I have so many accounts in various places. I told him it's not unusual And I told them, "Look at Catsalad, she has accounts all over the Fediverse." Well, in the end I got angry and left that place. 😅
