TIL that #Firefox won't offer to translate a webpage because I have AI disabled, and honestly fuck them

Edit: if I'd bothered to look a little harder I'd have seen that it's possible to enable the local AI for translations without enabling all AI in the browser. Don't be like me

Hey folks 👋 Sadly, I need to move to a new server. It seems that my admin has abandoned us, so I'm heading off to chaos.social. I'll make the change shortly, but I wanted to leave an additional footprint in case anything doesn't migrate properly. Hopefully see you there 👍

Console mode is coming to the #RetroRemake #SuperStationOne and #MiSTerPi. By extension, since they're just #MiSTerFPGA devices it could be for all

"The first major release of Console Mode beta drops this week with a ton of features. Two new game views, on device artwork scraping, screenshot viewer, resolution switching, retro achievement support, and per game core overrides. All with double the performance of earlier builds."

Are #Heber bringing us a true #MisterFPGA handheld before #RetroRemake and #TakiUdon?

Me: I'm going to support local businesses

Local businesses: Switch to using Amazon Logistics and stop using cardboard boxes in favour of plastic bag and half a mile of bubble wrap.

🤦‍♂️

Replying to

@ocramius@mastodon.social indeed. Saw someone asking about an air-fryer that's big enough for a large family. They were looking for an oven 🤣

Air fryers are just small fan-assisted ovens

There is a very, VERY special place in hell for UI designers who put United States at the top of the list of countries. I'm looking at you, Atlassian 😠

Replying to

@tubetime I have never heard of one of these before, but I watched this #8BitGuy video earlier about what if everything still ran on vacuum tubes where it was mentioned, and then a couple of hours later I see this? Coincidence? https://youtu.be/mEpnRM97ACQ

Replying to

@shlee I wish I could even get my admin to see messages. Doesn't work through here. Doesn't work through YouTube. Doesn't work through Patreon. I even changed my name in Patreon to get his attention, but he just copies and pastes the names into the credits of his videos. Pretty sure he's done with the Mastodon adventure, sadly

Replying to

@brunty no, it was about time dilation and the ratio of fuel to mass only working if you weren't decelerating for the destination. Not the most egregious error, to be fair. I think it was this one. An interesting video regardless: https://youtu.be/8FT-oz9aZU4

Replying to

@ramsey@phpc.social we have a #YumAsia and it's been incredible. We couldn't justify a #Zojirushi, but they're generally considered the best. I never found cooking rice a challenge, but it's amazing how simple a good rice cooker makes it. Suddenly it seems like maybe it was difficult 🤣
