Saw Autocade on a tablet for the first time since we started in 2008. OMG the template looks terrible. We only ever tested on computers and phones.
Only 6,000 page views over the last day. Oh well, at least they are mostly human, and we are keeping the bots at bay. But we are also affected by the collapse in the Bing index again, which affects it and all its licensees (Duck Duck Go, Yahoo!, Qwant and others) as it did in 2022.
Slammed by “#AI“ theftbots. Not as bad as that day when the peak was 26,000. Some of these bastards are very sneaky and distribute their visits across different IPs and even ISPs but their trails are all there.
The trouble with using some of the automated modes is that they also block legitimate search engines, while the list of known AI bots on the service we use is incredibly limited. Therefore we have to be across this as humans …

@thefathippy I remember the two lengths with the LC and LJ—though I might be a bit younger than you as my memories are of the LH Plus 4s, which some people thought were the bees’ knees. I guess in the wake of the fuel crisis it probably wasn’t a bad idea for a flashy Torana. Can’t remember the last time I saw a Torana … probably six years ago when some Holden dealers brought in classic models to tie in with the last Commodore’s launch.
