I follow Tanetta Hampton on social media. She's an amazing woman who has overcome so much to have the amazing life she has today. She's an excellent mom to kids ranging from toddler age to adult.
Her family was terrified and felt threatened by police when they barged in like some kind of swat team to arrest Tannetta's son...
This could be big, or could be more lip service. We shall see. It doesn't give any #land rights or #harvesting rights, it's more about internal affairs and #governance, so I'm not too hopeful.

I remember this. I wasn't born yet when it first aired, but I saw it in syndication.
I remember it felt so empowering as a little kid to hear those words. It made a real impression on me. It was one of my first experiences of hearing what strong autonomy sounded like, and that kids were just as valuable as anyone.

My thoughts :
We should all have the autonomy to decide when it's time, and to die with dignity. Society is far more merciful to animals than to humans in that regard. I don't understand why some faith-based institutions/religions try to block MAID for total strangers who don't share their beliefs. (Same with abortion). Let people decide for themselves. I wish this gracious lady and her family all of the best.
