I started watching Murderbot, the TV adaptation of Martha Wells' "The murderbot diaries". Well, the first season is all focused on the first novel, "All systems red" and I was extra skeptical, especially since the huge disappointment in the Silo TV show, but I must say that this show clicks all the right buttons
I've already seen the main actor in another role that I quite enjoyed but for the life of me I can't remember where and when.
Anyhoo, if you liked the books or if you're looking for a mid-light hearted show, this one is highly suggested

House-related chores for the day are done, now I can start work for the day.
Lately I had to trade my pre-work gaming routine to help my wife, which went through a little surgery, and while the absence of the routine throw me a bit off balance, I'm glad she's recovering well :)
I'm also looking at a 5-days long weekend <3 I'll get plenty of gaming in the next few days.
What a day. I'm feeling shattered. I'm going to grab my eBook reader and go diving into the sofa.

Lately I feel that, aside the personal issues, with all the "AI slop" here and "AI slop" there, my time on Mastodon has been drastically reduced, because I don't enjoy it no more.
It is high noon time for a new filter.
While I generally don't support AI, aside from some QoL stuff (especially towards people with sight or hearing issues), it feels to me that the specific term has become overused in a derogatory way, like "AI mentioned? AI slop!!!" or "They used AI years ago for a few minutes, they're AI sloppers and always will be"
Two days in and still no sign of a "well we dun goofed" mail from Steam. Seems like the Steam Controller 2 will (eventually) arrive for real
Edit: not bragging, it's just general anxiety with all the ruckus that happened Monday when it got listed in the store
I see a game with cats, I buy, I'm a simple mind.
In this case it's about Little strays 2 (and by the looks of it I guess I'll be effin crying a lot 😅 )

A few starred apps on the smarphone and the tablet and if I need everything else looking at the complete list (or curated list) of apps is just a gesture away.
It also works extremely well with notifications and contextual menus :)

I get easily stressed just playing the same games over and over, but to be honest, I can't do with repetitivity in my life, even outside videogames 😅
I think I went back to my old habit of having too many games up and running with no definite end (Warframe, Satisfactory, Windrose, Project Zomboid, etc.) and I'm quite missing the dopamine hit from completing a game and moving to another one.
I need to install something on my Deck I can easily play between meetings and during low activities days at work, possibly not too long (20+ hours is a no-go, generally)
Any suggestions gamers? You can easily see which games I dig checking out my @ivozzo@questlog.app profle
