The PQ are Trump-lite with a Québecois accent; Thin-skinned and ready to silence dissent.

The ApQ..(Excuse me, the Partie Québecois) and the AfQ(Alternatif Frechette Québec, formerly the CAQ) are very ‘European’, (Like the AfD) in so far as they blame the Province’s problems on immigration.
And not their overweening emphasis on cultural topics versus to build homes, protect the environment, etc, and accept that living in pluralistic societies is both inevitable and desirable.

@andthisismrspeacock@mas.to This needs to be repeated even in so-called “Socialist” Canada. This stuff worked so well(subsidize ‘the poors’, etc) during the pandemic the billionaires went full-court press(pun intended) to say it didn’t.

@tsyum@thepit.social I recently completed Québec’s First Responder (Secourist) course.
We were advised that we might have to administer Naloxone multiple times because once a dose wears off, the patient can go back into the symptoms of an overdose. The goal is not to wait that long, but get professionals involved ASAP.
Absolutely, call 911 as soon as possible.

@ZenHeathen@beige.party I built my patchy academic career on Anna’s, Lib-Gen, Sci-Hub, because my little teaching college couldn’t afford a big list of journals, etc.
Glad to help!

Doctorow points out that when the current miscreants go belly up, the technology will be seen for what it is: a handy heuristic reference based on sources that you provide yourself. No need to sort through peta-bytes of data in a server farm. It can run locally and do the job. It can even improve as you give it back your edits of your own work. But that means thinking, and not racing to the false efficiency of letting a complex gambling machine replace your judgement with electronic dice.2/n

The World’s Worst People have a Plan:
Essay & Podcast by Damien Walter.
Julian Huxley wrote the blueprint.
His brother, Aldous Huxley, wrote Brave New World as critique of that blueprint.
Walter’s essay features a concise explanation of how TESCREAL / Transhumanism is eugenics for the 21st century.

So what are we going to do about it?
