#ThreeGoodThings 1) I lost my one lone guitar cable. I'm sure I had it in February when the FAWM nerds convened but it's gone. HOWEVER...I found two of my old ones in my garage that had been packed away. 2) Yesterday I stayed home from work but the BizPartner is incapable of having me gone. He texted several times and even called once for stupid shit his dumb ass could have figured out. I had to make some calls to a couple of state agencies and a client. HOWEVER!... I got done early enough I was able to lay out in my backyard to get some color on the underside of my arms that I've been told glow like moonbeams. Annnnd... I got a cute new yellow bikini that was only 20 bucks! Sorry. No yellow bikini tax available. Still need to wash it. Maybe tomorrow. 3) This is a big one. According to the smart scale I have, I've lost a whopping six pounds in two and a half months of being on a glp-1. 😒 I think if I tried hard enough I could crap that much out in a weekend. HOWEVER!!!... also according to my smart scale, my visceral fat level is in the normal range!!! Just barely but it's there. Yay! Fatty liver be gone! #1111

There's been a lot of buzz around the new film #Odyssey for a while as cast members were announced... Anne Hathaway, Elliot Paige, Matt Damon, Zendaya. Yeah, yeah. Okay, sounds good. Whatever. Where we live now has some pretty bad water issues just like much of the state of Texas. (Thanks TxLege for continuing to work on the much needed issue of eradicating trans people instead of doing anything about our electric grid and water issues) Anyway, we got a shower head that has a filter built into it to help clean up the water a little. It was super easy to install and look!... it even came with a wrench. "Tiny but mighty" "The cutest tape in the world" I feel you wrench and plumber's tape. I feel you.

Mrs McCutcheon - 2025 (run time 17:19) - It's about a young trans girl (about 10 or 12yrs old?) and her first day at a new school. It follows the challenges, she faces with bullies, kids who don't understand, making new friends, her mother's worry, etc. It's a really wonderfully story and treated with delicacy about the reality of what everyone goes through when a trans child decides to live in truth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpMgJyIBU1I Meatball - 2026 (run time 11:49) is an absolutely hysterical short film that entirely takes place at the dinner table of an Italian-American family as a young woman attempts to come out as a lesbian to her family. It sounds like it's set in New Jersey or one of the burroughs of New York in modern times. @Alice@beige.party Yay! Welcome to the club! Believe it or not, I actually make my own. I use "blanks" then cut, trim, file and paint. I use little double sided sticky to keep them in place. First photo shows my sticky tabs and the second is showing off my latest set using OPI Princesses Rule. And having long nails... gah! I don't know how people do it. @Wallflower@beige.party has her (homegrown, natural) nails long and when I showed her these I was complaining to her not understanding how she does anything with them this long. #LaqueristasOfMastodon

@coachmark2PointOH@beige.party Thanks! 🥰 I love 'em. I've had mixed opinion on them though. 🤨 Here's some better pics from last year that show them better. It's hard to find western boots that aren't squared off at the tip. I like that they have what's called a saddled vamp.

I live in a small town outside of Houston now and routinely see women (young and old) wearing cowgirl boots with a dress or skirt. The young woman wearing her jeans tucked in her boots isn't something I see except in those who are kind of playing dress up so to say or on the other extreme like this young woman for practical working reasons where one doesn't want to dirty up or ruin their jeans.
