This is a very genuine question and asked out of fear.

What happens when the next ceiling flood from an upstairs neighbour reaches the point where the mains electricity comes into your house? (UK). Each flood the water reaches a little further, I can't stop the guy from leave his tap running every now and again until my house floods from his overflowing bathroom sink (believe me I'm trying).

To me this seems incredibly dangerous. Anyone with electrical knowledge ...

I've never loved pienk.
It was tolerable as american bugglegum.
I'm all tans and beiges, creams and things bleached white, turquoises, blues, a multitude of browns, oranges, yellows even but bright pienk, never once.

For that I was called a tomboy in my time, refusing frilly pienk clothing and silly pienk toys. Preferring sea shells.
My girlchild however was magnetically attracted to the colour from age 3 and soon advanced to purple.
It's obviously not genetic.

I suddenly need to learn how to graft trees because reasons. Wrong time of year - that much I know (I think) but I'm not up for letting a vandalised sapling die for lack of at least giving it a go.

And if you go down further into the offer it gets even sweeter. No management costs (as in zero), all repairs to the property for free. I'm not surprised the landlord upstairs went for it. But here I am two years on in the dark due to constant flooding that has taken out my electricity and no recourse. And horriblly stained ceilings. And a bed so stained that will need replacing, and a computer repair and on and on.
I sit under all the good intentions, living the problems - and utterly ignored.

Tell me what not to look at, at least not look directly, I cannot look away, obviously I cannot, but I try as do we all to balance the need to know, that against the need to also rest and sleep for if we are too worn out, who else will fight?

I hate it.
I don't want my browser to have a mind of it's own. And no matter how often I press ctrl 11 or whatever the magic word are I still end up on youtube. I am too old to die. This is feedback from my heart, as in don't hide your browser. I expect no response.

I assume "the internet" will start working again in the UK some time between midnight and tomorrow morning. I have sent two abslut rockets via email and no response.
But I really am quite capable of being an OAP in a popup tent outside a hi rise if an insurance co that I have paid for can't find accommodation in Edinburgh, or even near. Islands is ok but pay my travel.
Hit is no surprise to me that a basic hotel, one room one clean bed and one shower is hard to find under £100

There is something Escherish about the city that means you are always walking up a hill. There is a theoretical and visible down the hill, but you never find it nor reach the top of the hill, there's a bend and a wall to stop you meandering and on you go uphill again. You get used to it though and mentally map roads seeming to lead one way that will eventually arrive somewhere else.
And learn to avoid the others that go nowhere.
