Everything in the diagram after "No" is assumptions and we all know some things about how those go. 😬
If I assume a thing is known, and it's not, then things go poorly. If I don't assume a thing and mansplain things go poorly.
The question cuts the assumptions and ensures things go well. I've done this in the past but I still need to work harder to make sure it's the default. I appreciate the reminder!

I'll hit up an LLM if it's something I need done quickly and don't forsee needing to know the hows and whys. Also if the stakes are particularly low. But if it's something I genuinely want to know and understand, or the stakes are high, then it's digging into searches and deep diving into documentation etc.

@crow @bodil Fedora, specifically Silverblue (gnome) or Kinoite (kde). They're immutable which means you can't (easily) break the OS and it's versioned so if an update happens to break something it's fairly easy to roll back.
However, if you want to be open to tinkering and learning how your system works regular old Fedora is the way to go.

Just a tip or feedback though. If you're doing CLI stuff please make sure the line you're typing on is about 1/3 up from the bottom of the frame. Youtube puts CC's, and when you mouse over it on a computer or pause it the play bar, over the top of that bottom third of the frame. What you're typing can't be seen.

I assure you you've experienced good LLM output and don't even know it. Because that's what good LLM output looks like. Indistinguishable from human output.
Your examples are perhaps false equivalencies. Take asbestos. We didn't abolish insulation. We developed better, safer insulation. We didn't stop dying food colors, we just developed safer dyes etc.
