Today’s harvest from my garden. More carrots and silverbeet, and the first handful of snow peas for this season.
My Gardenhound would be proud. I wish he could be here with me to help with the harvest 🐾

@SeaFury@aus.social My supervisors were good in general (ie. in terms of responding and providing feedback in a timely manner) but one also gave this sort of feedback, so vague it was practically useless. Sometimes she'd literally just put a question mark at the end of a paragraph and it was like "What the fuck does this MEAN?" Half the time I had to hunt her down and ask her in person but that wasted time I could have spent actually writing if I'd been given actionable feedback.

@broadwaybabyto I lost a friend of 20 years in the same way, and though it was about a different topic (he thought writers and artists should embrace AI and if we don't then we "deserve to die out"), he also became very obsessed with the idea that everyone was "too woke" because he couldn't make racist/sexist jokes.
I thought for a while that the MAGA shit rotted his brain, but looking back, I think that vitriolic mindset was there all along, it's just that now he feels comfortable showing it.

@SeaFury@aus.social When it comes to soups I prefer a more savoury option rather than sweet. I don't know what sort of flavour the different types of misos have.

@SeaFury@aus.social This looks tasty, I want to try it ^_^
Does it make a difference what kind of miso you use? I don't think I have tried miso before and looking online it seems you can get red or white miso.

@lexiconista@mastodon.ie As someone submitting this Friday after starting almost 11 years ago, this post genuinely almost sent me into a Hulk-smash rage.
