@sonjdol What I found fundamental for my own understanding of how LLMs work and where their faults are coming from is: https://youtube.com/watch?v=gQddtTdmG_8
With that knowledge, it is obvious where "Ungarn ist ein Land das mit H beginnt" comes from.

@cmconseils@mastodon.social An addition to the already great alt-text:
Not only are the staircase and the railings of the first picture (Art Nouveau) curved, so are all the decorations on the ground and walls.
The staircase of the second picture (Art Deco) turns with a 90° angle and a flat intermediate level, and the decorations on the ground, walls and parts of the railings are in a 45°/90°/135° arrangement.

@gytis @dwarf but it is more than that: @k9mail was specific to the mobile client, whereas @thunderbird also is about the desktop application? With the increased scope, people might no longer be interested in following, if posts that are mostly about the desktop application are not relevant to them.

@thelinuxEXP@mastodon.social @razze@osna.social ah that's great, I selected Wayland + proprietary Nvidia and realized I'm about to mix two devices, so I had to decide for one device.

@onewheelgeek@social.lol The time zone indicator seems inconsistent across places. Either Berlin should show CET/CEST or Washington DC should show GMT-4.

@onewheelgeek@social.lol Changing the date should change the indicated time zone, i.e. GMT+1 for Berlin and EST for Washington DC in winter. Similarly, the "valid until" should be updated to show the next change per selected date, i.e. beginning of March for (the then upcoming / now past) US DST change.
"valid until" could be extended to have "valid from", e.g. when you're planning ahead.

@Kerplunk @fsfe After reading their Wikipedia article, I'm thinking this has nothing to do with US/Trump, but that they try to re-sell that data in a dubious way. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nexi

@r0k @bitbraindev @mitchellh Isn't that the graph, that is green going back decades, because instead of saying they don't have past measurements, they are showing it as available by default? https://github.com/DaMrNelson/github-historical-uptime/issues/2

@stefanct @kernellogger It seems rather odd if you think of a single user with their primary end device.
It does not seem odd if you think of a larger scale, for example:
- production servers with Debian stable, test servers with Debian proposed-updates, CI with all kinds of OSs incl. Debian testing.

@simontatham@hachyderm.io It must be classical, because black is observing how white moves. The attack is not really happening afterwards, black is declaring that the board does not reflect the real state because they saw white pass a and attacked - the attack is not a killing from behind.
There is one alternative though: white needs to declare an attempt before executing the move, black notes in hidden knowledge whether they attack if a is passed, then white flips a coin for the way.

@onewheelgeek@social.lol A few things I immediately spotted:
Just remember DST will nudge the whole thing twice a year
It is 4 times a year, because the US and Europe change DST on different days. Those weeks in between are always the craziest, especially if you have regular meetings that in addition include colleagues from countries without DST.
