I love animals. Especially snakes. If you are about to buy a pet, consider adopting a rescue instead.

@Twongo@lemmy.ml sudo rm -rf /dev/sda dropped me to the black screen. Must be a user error, I'll try again after reinstalling the system... 🤣

@colleeneh@mastodon.social Ah, I see... So basically we are doing everything correctly, it's just that Snoopy is too smart for her own good. She just waits with her crimes until we get busy with anything. 🤪

@colleeneh@mastodon.social Could you share some tips on how you got here? Our Snoopy needs a special diet for kidneys, and she won't hesitate to peer-pressure our other cat Lilly out from her bowl, if she prefers the other food. Also Lilly steals Snoopy's food ninja-mode on occasion, but this is not the worst, since she is healthy. 🤪

@Bro666@lemmy.kde.social I did some AutoCad at university. Brilliant software if you know how to make stuff happen. Would you say that FreeCad is more difficult? I'm fully aware that this is engineering software. I would hope to be able to afford a 3D Printer one day.
Hey, #openSUSE community, I'm looking for #LinuxHelp with my #dualGPU #laptop. It seems to be the case where I'm supposed to use the 'nomodeset' parameter when booting the installer. But then I end up with no #NVidia acceleration on Steam, and then I attempt a driver installation, and then I end up in the prompt where I have to do the #startkde command to try and launch my desktop. I wonder what should I do better? 🤔 Any help? 🙂
