Remember in Montana, there was that guy who grabbed a reporter by the throat and slammed him to the ground? The guy who did that is our governor. He got elected twice after he did that.
I don’t have any faith anymore in the ability of Montana voters to discern basic right and wrong, let alone electing decent people.
Some thoughts
- In Chump’s 2024 campaign, he asked oil executives to donate a billion dollars to his campaign, saying it would be “a deal” compared to what they’d get in return. They donated hundreds of millions.
- The U.S. does not import a significant amount oil from the Middle East.
- The price of oil has nearly doubled since Operation Epstein Fury began.
Pretty obvious what’s really going on here to anyone who isn’t a dope.

@tojiro Congratulations! We did about the same thing in 2020; grid-tied, panels and battery. Bought an EV in 2023. With the EV, we end up using up our summer credits with about two months remaining in the year, so the power company never gets a surplus from us.
With all the data center lunacy jacking up everyone’s power bills, our payback window gets drastically shorter every year. Best investment we ever made.
