@sezduck @lxskllr @MirrorAyako @startrek Voyager is a great series. So many superb episodes to choose from.

@arazil @lxskllr @sezduck @MirrorAyako @startrek Yeah all these things are objective. I think that VOY has a great hit rate. I think it's first season was WAY better than TNG's first season. Which makes sense because TNG was restarting after a long break and VOY had a better budget in the first year.

@ColesStreetPothole @arazil @lxskllr @sezduck @MirrorAyako @startrek The thing that I wish for for Voyager is a bit more continuity. There was a /little/ continuity but mostly the stories were forgotten in any subsequent episode. But that's how they did TV back then.

@ColesStreetPothole @arazil @lxskllr @sezduck @MirrorAyako @startrek Yeah the Kazon weren't the best baddies ever? They have stolen spaceships but they can't make their own water? Something doesn't track.

@lxskllr @MirrorAyako @startrek In that book which is my memory, on the first page of the chapter that is the day when I first met you, appear the words: Here begins a new life. #AllStarTrek

@kcarr2015@mstdn.social @lxskllr@mastodon.world @MirrorAyako@universeodon.com @startrek@fedigroups.social My real complaint about Gravity is that Tuvok could have done the mind meld MONTHS AGO. Why wait til the very end to relieve her suffering? (Answer: because otherwise there would have been no episode.) #AllStarTrek

@lxskllr@mastodon.world @MirrorAyako@universeodon.com @startrek@fedigroups.social @kcarr2015@mstdn.social Gravity!!! My clear winner. Lori Petty is AMAZING. It makes me cry every. single. time. My runner up is The Aenar... just for Shran's animal magnetism in this 2-parter.

@lxskllr@mastodon.world @MirrorAyako@universeodon.com @startrek@fedigroups.social Latent Image is the clear winner tonight, but a LOOOONG mile. Such a great idea with great performances. Definitely the best of Trek. #AllStarTrek

@pbharristoo@universeodon.com @heymcdermott@mastodon.social I think this would make the rest of us suffer... #AllStarTrek

@kcarr2015@mstdn.social @lxskllr@mastodon.world @MirrorAyako@universeodon.com @startrek@fedigroups.social And it would mean less screen time for Lori Petty and current Tuvok. I am fine with how it is. #AllStarTrek

@kcarr2015@mstdn.social He's got that pretty amazing voice. Trek is great for casting people with fabulous voices. #AllStarTrek

@Crystal_Fish_Caves@mstdn.party Well now that's just facts.

@kcarr2015@mstdn.social @lxskllr@mastodon.world @MirrorAyako@universeodon.com @startrek@fedigroups.social Well but way more similar biology than the Horta has...

@kcarr2015@mstdn.social Yeah but he didn't. They kind of didn't track all the ways that they said Curzon died. At one point we see Curzon and Jadzia on adjacent hospital beds... so that's how Curzon died, after transferring Dax to Jadzia. They must have resuscitated him on Risa. #AllStarTrek

@dannotdaniel@hellions.cloud I just like 2 hours ago heard about the allegations. I don't know what they are exactly, and maybe I don't want to know.

@ColesStreetPothole @lxskllr @MirrorAyako @startrek SO FREAKING GOOD

@MirrorAyako@universeodon.com @startrek@fedigroups.social @lxskllr@mastodon.world Oh no! Not Code of Honor! #AllStarTrek

@lxskllr@mastodon.world @startrek@fedigroups.social Yeah what I understand is that was all from the director. The producers should have been paying more attention. Or heck, maybe Gene was super down with the look of the show. #AllStarTrek

Everyone needs to listen to this interview with the star of Code of Honor, Karole Selmons. She got a great take on her character. https://www.trekuntold.com/podcast/117-karole-selmons-code-of-honor-in-life-and-acting/ #AllStarTrek @startrek@fedigroups.social

@thams@infosec.exchange Nice

@JoeWynne@mstdn.plus They looked really good... against us. Lost 2-nil, with one own goal. The dominated possession and had way more chances. We were doing a good job defending but then... sigh

@thegaffer@hobbitwhispers.social Hah!! I just did my own version of this. I swear I didn't see yours first!

@JoeWynne@mstdn.plus They have all been trained to say nothing so why even bother them when they want to get to the locker room? Makes zero sense to me.

@JoeWynne@mstdn.plus I should have done some cooking today but it will just have to wait til tomorrow. I think I am going to head to bed soon. I am sleepy for some reason. But Chicago is holding it together.

@JoeWynne@mstdn.plus I really don't know what the point of player interviews is. What could they possibly say?

@JoeWynne@mstdn.plus Well that's the game. ...

@JoeWynne@mstdn.plus Ooofff. Good save.

@JoeWynne@mstdn.plus Our last coach never seemed to want to sub until very late in the game.

@JoeWynne@mstdn.plus Lots of subs...

@kcarr2015@mstdn.social Totally could have happened that way.

@JoeWynne@mstdn.plus Yeah I can't say I cried when he left.

@JoeWynne@mstdn.plus I can't say that I'm sad we won. That loan from Uventis really showed up today.

@lxskllr@mastodon.world @startrek@fedigroups.social I love that podcast in general. I would recommend the whole thing. But yeah... her take is that she was in charge... that it was a feminist story. And I agree with her. I feel like the director maybe took the episode in ways that the script didn't dictate. Anyway. It's a good interview. #AllStarTrek

@lxskllr @MirrorAyako @startrek *by a long mile

@ColesStreetPothole@weatherishappening.network @startrek@fedigroups.social Okay real discussion question: Does Miles suffer more than other characters? Like we need a histogram of suffering. I feel like other characters have suffered more. #AllStarTrek

@JoeWynne@mstdn.plus Okay. Bedtime for me. Nice to chat. :-)
