@maid @mirq I hated the romanticization of Autism. Like I used to have a roommate and she claimed to have it after those tik tok videos came out. It infuriated me so much when she used her self-diagnosed autism as an excuse for something (I don't remember what). She wasn't even always like that. When we were in high school she was a completely different, outgoing person. She's only the way she is now because her online therapist keeps prescribing her multiple drugs, she doesn't go out and do anything anymore, stuck on social media (and one of the most prone to propaganda people I've ever known), etc. One time she had a 10 minute session with her online therapist and suddenly got diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I'd known her for well over a decade and can say for sure that she doesn't have that. My first thought when she told me was "well you gotta catch em all."

Since a month ago I started getting junk mail to my address but addressed to my mom

It is June and a neighbor up the street is still turning on their flashing Christmas lights every night

My neighbor moved across the country about 7 months ago. He got an offer on his house and asked if I could mow it. It's about an acre lot and it grew tall. Had only gotten to the end of my first pass-through and a lot of black smoke started to come out from underneath my engine. The fire department got involved and all. Waited for it to stop smoking and she turns on and runs just fine. The belt is stuck though and hopefully it just needs replaced. The frame doesn't really have a good spot to lift it from in the back so I can't get a good look at it. The mower shop up the street doesn't open until Monday and I'd have to take a day off of work to get it checked out.

@sel one thing I find odd, using the Tusker app with a Pleroma account is that I can’t give or see reacts on posts but I do get notifications for reacts and can see them there. I wish @apps was on IOS

If my (hypothetical) kid was debating with another kid about who’s dad could be up who, I’d totally ask the other dad to fight
