Today I cast a Toxic Deluge for 26. You will be unsurprised to learn that I did not win that game.
Scryfall is on point today.

A comedian’s most sacred duty is to hold a mirror up to the world, and this mirror should have a hidden squeezy bulb full of water so you can squirt people when they look in it.
I am a master of the sacred art of talking myself out of running a card in the time between ordering it and it arriving.
Prior to today, I thought Mr Beast just made bad content for children. Thanks to Dan Olsen, I now know Mr Beast is bad at making bad content for children. Like really really bad at his actual literal job. I don't know why this was a surprise, now that I think about it.
Attention pranksters! Due to disruption of international supply chains, April Fools Day this year is CANCELED.
We are hoping that a return to normal in the international comedy markets may allow us to reschedule a day of pranks for early May, but this remains far from certain. We will keep you updated!

Zimone: Chandra, I did the math and it proves you're not crazy!

While I cannot (yet) claim to have read every book Seanan McGuire has written, Omens of Chaos is the most Seanan McGuire book I've ever read.
It has weird pets, traumatic upbringings, lying to authorities, a masquerade ball and a mermaid.
It's beautiful and perfect.
If you nap in a dream you nap in real life.
Trying to be funny is like trying to pull teeth: pliers help.
The Secrets of Strixhaven story is doing something actually very clever - It's not really about Strixhaven the way the set is about Strixhaven. The story is more about weird things happening on Arcavios as a prelude to Reality Fracture.
This is actually really cool post-block storytelling, and I'm really digging it. The only fly in the ointment is that Reality Fracture doesn't come out for 6 months, which makes the lead in feel much worse.
It's important to slow down and take the time to enjoy the simple things in life - like laying in bed doomscrolling until 3am.
Oooop! Omen of Chaos ebook is here, time to go read it all immediately.
What are the theological implications of the Daylight Saving shift happening during Easter? Could we end up out of sync with Jesus?
I've had this running through my head non-stop for a week:
