Also an amateur folk musician for over fifty years, in the 70s I played at several folk clubs and folk venues mostly in London. Now I play just for my own enjoyment, and YouTube.
More recently I have composed a few "contemporary classical" pieces, including an arietta, a couple of toccatas and a fantasia. These are also on YouTube, played on various synth instruments.
Now living la dolce vita with my wife, 2 dogs and 10½ cats.

Trimming (= cutting off long branches) of our neighbour's long-neglected fig tree. It is the first outing for the pole saw I bought a couple of years ago 🤨 It feels very therapeutic.

A day after my wisdom tooth extraction, and I am e-x-h-a-u-s-t-e-d!
Just had a visit from a friend I made in radiotherapy and his wife. They are keen walkers and arrived on foot having parked in the village 4 km away. It was a lovely time, and was a bit odd speaking partly in Italian and partly in English.
