Today I also learned about the Overlapping Illness Alliance in the UK:
"The Overlapping Illness Alliance (OIA) is a coalition of charities working to improve recognition, care and support for people of all ages living with complex, overlapping conditions."
It is so validating to know that someone is putting these conditions together when you suffer from a few of them.

Little bit of good news from the East Midlands. After the #reform Councillor resigned in less than a year, the voters pooled votes from across all parties to elect Lian Pizzey as the next #GreenParty Councillor in Horsley byelection. Loads of hard work by local activists to get this nailed on. #UKpolitics #byelection

#AskFedi requesting more info on how to use translation tools on mastodon. I can't work out if this is a mastodon client app feature or general feature. I see some posts in other languages and it automatically underneath says "translate from..." and if I click that it translates the post. Sometimes this doesn't appear and I don't know if it's that that person hasn't got a setting turned on or is something I've not got turned on. Sometimes posts from the same person are translatable sometimes not. I'm using Moshidon if that's affecting this.
I'd love to know how it works as I find it so interesting to read content from across the world and have conversations across languages. I'd hope the poster could translate my reply too.
