Had the sewer line replaced several months ago. Company that did it had to tear up part of the street as well as dig a trench in the yard and a part of the concrete slab in the garage. Said they would be back out to resurface that section of the street and lay new concrete as soon as it stopped raining.

We've gotten at least a spot of rain almost every week since then. I think the city is about to complain the gravel fill in the street is insufficient. This has been the most expensive toilet flush in all of human history.

Neither one can be proven 100% true, both seem very possible, and I can do nothing about either scenario. The stupid thing is, when we moved in we thought we were on the city sewage line. Turned out we had an old septic tank. The line out to that was an ancient wrought iron thing. They lost the meth trade to the Mexicans and independents, and the FBI absolutely love busting bikers. Bikers are white, usually pretty racist, not overly bright, and it tends to be easier to infiltrate them than ethnic mobs or budding terrorist groups. Busting biker gangs is a relatively easy scalp an assistant director can nail to his office wall. The larger clubs can't take a crap without some fed knowing about it. That and the fact those bikes aren't cheap. To be a biker you have to be able to afford an expensive machine, but still be stupid and/or criminally minded enough to want to be in the club, and be willing to put up with all the hazing and crap they put you through before you become a full member.

If he wins, being governor will help him run for higher office. If he loses, it will likely cripple any future political aspirations he might have. Besides, I believe the state legislature will be held by Republicans. They'll likely stymie most of what a Democrat governor tries to do, out of partisan reflex if nothing else. It sucks, but a Democrat governor of Ohio at this point will do less damage.
