I had to find a leaking water main in a crawlspace which had been sprayfoamed. Poking the skin with a screwdriver caused it to bleed. And it smelled every bit as nasty as months-old stagnant water ought to. Went to one side until I found dry, then back in the other direction. Split the difference and sure enough, that's where the main was hidden. Tore out easily 4' in either direction. And you couldn't fill regular trash bags with the stuff, it was too heavy. Fun. I would not want to see that under a leaking roof.
