Sunday knitting: I started a new pair of socks. DK sock yarn from my stash. I love the stripes. Plain vanilla sock, should be a quick knit. I like to have a pair of socks, for emergency knitting.

When I finish the toe of my sock, I always weave in all my ends. Then when I finished knitting the second sock, the pair is complete, nothing left to do. Last night I finished two socks, so I have a pair ready to gift to a new grandma, and the start of a pair of spring socks.

I must admit that while I admire yarn Advent calendars, I am enough of a control freak that I'm not a fan of surprise yarn, so I have never bought one. I have some mini skeins in my stash, and I haven't figured out what to do with them.
I'm not much help. I think if I were in the market for an Advent calendar, I'd be inclined to buy one with 4 full skeins of yarn instead of 24 mini skeins.
Alternately, how about a single skeins with 24 stripes?

I ordered a new box of Finish Quantum Everyday Dishwasher Detergent from Costco. Opened it last night to discover it was a "new improved " version. The improvement apparently included a really strong floral scent. All of my plastic dishes and utensils now have a strong floral scent, as does the interior of the dishwasher.
If you are not a fan of having your dishes smell like floral dryer sheets, avoid this product. My package is being returned to Costco.
I was looking for a dog harness pattern for my puppy. My search lead me to this picture. It just screams AI. The same dog 5 times, in the same pose with different backgrounds. Isn't that the puppy from the scammy AI site, that is selling a robot puppy? Thanks Etsy.
