Pushing my cart under the heat and rain is never easy, but it's all worth it for my family. Today was quiet, but I'm grateful for the few souls who stopped by. Tomorrow is a new day to move forward with a smile. 🙏✨ #streetvendor #gratitude #familyfirst #keepgoing #introduction #dailyhustle

I’m about to start a week I’m really not looking forward to. I’ve tried to get the money from the people who literally owe me money. They said they couldn't. I’ve done everything else I can reasonably do. And I’m still short. Quite a bit short. So, one last try. This is my donation link: [https://ko-fi.com/thepurpleoctopus/goal?g=14] This explains what is happening to translators thanks to AI: [https://ko-fi.com/post/The-Machine-Ate-My-Job-and-Apparently-Im-Suppose-A6V725QY58] It’s not for a holiday. It’s not for some shiny new toy. It’s to help me keep standing while I fight to keep my fully human, AI-free translation and teaching business alive. I’m still here. Still translating. Still teaching. Still stubbornly insisting that humans are not obsolete just because someone put a language model in a server rack. But right now, I honestly don’t know what comes after this. I'm literally with my back to the wall now. If you can help, thank you. If you can’t, please don’t feel guilty. I’m just putting one more flare into the dark. 🟣 #SupportHumanWork #AIFree #HumanTranslation #Translation #Teaching #FreelanceLife #SmallBusiness #KeepGoing #MutualAid #QueerBusiness #Berlin

Goodnight, everyone. 🌙💜 Not exactly a good day. Fascism is on the rise, my finances are a mess, I can't even pay my rent properly, and generally… ugh. One of those days where the universe really ought to consider getting a hobby. I'm tired. So tonight, I'm going to let myself be tired. Tomorrow is a new day. I'll pull my socks up and get going again. One stubborn step at a time. 🧦💜 Good night, everyone. Sleep well. Be kind to yourselves. We have another day to fight for a better world tomorrow. 🏳️‍🌈✊ #GoodNight #AntiFascist #KeepGoing #Hope #Solidarity

Find one document—a letter, a photograph, a receipt—that proves someone before you existed and kept moving. Hold it for sixty seconds. History is not abstract when it has a texture.
