Centralized platforms will never be the solution for privacy and autonomy, it is crazy but all that multi-millions-dollar backed apps can't bring you as far in terms of #autonomy, #resilience and #freedom as #ArcaneChat does
#decentralization #european #europe #e2ee
Meet #ArcaneChat
No phone numbers required for registration.
No strangers discovering and contacting your family members.
All your conversations end-to-end encrypted.
it is magic! ✨

Meet #PixelSocial: a private social network you can host without any server just in your chats! for example in the family chat to have a private social network that only the family can access to! or for a group of friends
if you want to test it, there is also a public anonymous instance where you can actually interact with strangers thanks to a bot that works as bridge:

Switching from #WhatsApp / #Telegram to #Signal is not a solution if you really care about #privacy, #resilience and #autonomy
all of them are centralized services and depend on phone numbers, which makes them easy to censor, the best services are the one that don't require any personal data at all to register, like #ArcaneChat

Some people in #Europe try to get away from #WhatsApp but fail short then just moving to #Signal, it runs on #Amazon servers and fuels millions of dollars into them every year
if you really want digital independence you need something that is decentralized and you can host yourself, something that can't be taken away form you
ideally something that doesn't require phone numbers

Replying to
