It's not in Western interest to limit Israel in any way. Alana Lentin: 'Thus, the almost total impunity granted Israel as it has exacted death and destruction on the people of Palestine and sown murderous chaos around the region since its founding can also be understood in terms of the function it serves for the West. I don't normally link to X, but I think this is important for people to see. When they say "Antizionism isn't antisemitism", what about staging protest outside a synagogue (not an embassy) on the holiest day of the Jewish calendar and intimidating or preventing congregants from going in to worship strikes you as acceptable behavior? https://x.com/NEWSneil/status/2102202761471291570 #Antisemitism #JewHatred #Antizionism

Time to remind y'all what the word #Antisemitism now means, in #zionist usage. "#FreePalestine" is #antisemtic 'Justice for #HindRajab" is antisemitic "Stop the genocide" is antisemitic. "End the illegal occupation" is antisemitic. "Stop murdering journalists" is antisemitic. "Don't demolish homes" is antisemitic. "Stop blacking aid to Gaza" is antisemitic. Going to be controversial here. Being keen to be even handed there are plenty of Allie’s who are ultra keen to jump on displays of #antisemitism. However the antisemitism gate is enormous. And we do not expect people to know all of the ways which certain phrases or symbols are offensive to other groups nor do we police them as hard. Greta holding an octopus plushy? Antisemitic. For eg. When someone apologises and says ‘I didn’t know: I’ll avoid in the future’ I think we might accept that 1/n
