They gave public testimonies in the Knesset, published their crimes on their own social media with their grinning faces visible, spoke them out loud in Israeli media. And these were translated and shared, even some by Western media. And again: Breaking the Silence has had anonymized IOF testimonies of committing war crimes on their website for years. And sure, Israel is hostile towards Jews having the slimmest sympathy for Palestinians. But in short, your replies confirm Majazz Project's critique. This desalination plant will help us save costs on providing water and we will also provide our partner organizations with free water to distribute. @paulschoe@mastodon.world It was my question for people who wanted to criticise the Palestinian criticism in the article, which is about an interview with an Israeli war criminal in the Economist. Yes, I agree it might have done that, but also nothing much material. People have been putting pressure on their governments before the documentary came out: student encampments, mass demonstrations, even blocking bridges. In the meantime the ethnic cleansing of the West Bank continues as does the genocide in Gaza, with the full support of Western democracies who use our protests to strengthen their oppression at home. @palestine@lemmy.ml @palestine@fedibird.com

This desalination plant will help us save costs on providing water and we will also provide our partner organizations with free water to distribute. Working in community is a key pillar of The Sameer Project. So this is not our success, this is the success of mutual aid groups in Gaza. To operate the plant, we will need around $1,500 per day and we will be able to produce at least 150,000 liters of fresh water with that. Our mission is to provide food & water to those who need it most. In the past, this campaign was dedicated to the North of Gaza but in January 2026, we rebranded this to "Food and Water" and the South Campaign to "Shelter, Goods & Activities" as the geographical areas are not as relevant anymore.
