I’m so grateful to Paul for taking the reins and bringing Disturbing Dreams back for a special episode he’s guest hosted.

And what a selection of music it is! Get it in your ears.

Quite chuffed that my album made the Space Is The Place top 50 for the year. Thanks chaps!

And if you'd like to hear the whole album... well here it is: https://xylander.bandcamp.com/album/happy-new-dystopia 😄

It feels funny to be looking forward to January at this time of year because I do enjoy Christmas very much. But I have a hankering to get back into #jamuary. With a young child last year didn’t really work out in this respect but I’m cautiously optimistic for 2026. I’m still somewhat time poor right now but I think I might get a few bits out next month. 🤞

@nigelharpur@musicians.today I felt very much the same - I have a tendency to want to avoid things that ‘everyone’ says are “amazing”. And then my wife started watching last year’s series and… um… I got hooked. It’s quite compelling if you enjoy analysing human behaviour.

I mean, that’s what I’m telling myself anyway. 🙃

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you’ve had a great day, or having a great day.

Here’s my little contribution to Christmas music from a couple of years back. I don’t think it’s cheesy (but maybe it is and if so that’s fine).

Peace and be well.

There’s so much music it can be overwhelming, so it’s very useful when someone with excellent taste puts a big old list together with categories and notes.
