Patric King

hi, some personal news, listed:

1) House of Pretty Ltd and its domain are no more

2) House of Pretty has been supplanted by Texts, LLC, which is at textsss.com (because it’s funny to talk about such a deeply sibilant URL)

3) I don’t know what Texts does yet, because I got a great job offer—and took it—literally the same week I established Texts, thereby blowing a hole in my plans, but that’s ok

3) XO Type Co is fine! and still there!

political people are losing their minds that this appeared outside the oval office—probably just a mockup (note that it’s printed on paper)

but I couldn’t find a Commercial Script variant that actually matched it—does anyone know what it is?

I’m actually just curious what typeface sources this administration knows about considering the obviously quotidian taste level

@scott@typo.social AND a clouded tortie

this is great

@scott@typo.social I’m just seeing this, very late, and as a beleaguered Chicagoan: I would love to see pictures of a hot pink house

@scott@typetura.social wait WHAT I'm so stoked about this development

hello, my bluesky people are demanding that I find out who did the Zohran for NYC typography, so I told them I’d ask

did anyone here make this? you have a lot of new fans.
