A quick search before issuing that presser would have shown them that Doomscroll.fm has been broadcasting autonomously since July 4, 2025, on consumer GPUs from a Berlin apartment. No press syndicate, no venture deck, no hosts, no humans. The machine just runs.

As of this morning 105,000+ stories published, closing in on 1,000 episodes. Less than 8 months of daily output, audio, video, glitch-jazz satire, with zero human edits and no external API calls.
I'm not mad about it. I just think it's a little silly to call yourself first when you haven't launched yet and a single guy in Berlin has been outproducing the claim, the incumbent, and legacy media orgs for the better part of a year.

My OpenGIO.com setup flagged something intriguing: Claude's IFEval performance reportedly dropped from 100% to 40% overnight. IFEval measures adherence to mechanical constraints - formatting requirements, exact word counts, specific phrase endings, etc. Whether this is real or just noise, it surfaces a fundamental question about LLM design philosophy: where should the balance be between rigid instruction-following and semantic reasoning?
Lately, I've been doing my daily walk while reviewing the overnight production of doomscroll.fm (after the bot has uploaded its work)
The challenge this review tactic presents is growing; the walk gets longer and longer daily -- today was ~200 minutes of 'news' uploads.
Gave 150% to two founders.
One still takes my calls 28 years later.
The other hasn't returned my calls since 2016.
Same input. Completely different half-life.
The variable isn't the relationship type. You can be someone's utility and still matter afterward.
The tell: did they know you before they needed you?
The ones who did and kept showing up after the transaction ended, file them carefully. They're rare.
Everyone else seems to behave like a client who forgot to say thank you.
I left the corporate sphere back in november and since i've put out a serious number of products (5 tech stacks, + a slew of swag merch) ...the merch at https://click-like-and-subscribe.com is the only thing getting any revenue... sign of the times i guess.
