I still want to get rid of Photoshop and move to @Krita@mastodon.art .
One thing I was missing were the vector shapes. So here is a Python program that converts Photoshop csh and psp files to Krita svg shapes.
It comes as a plugin and as a standalone Python file with a TKInter UI. Tested on Windows and MacOS.

May the 4th be with you!
Revisiting a render from 2019. Hangar environment, Pit Droid and Astromechs kitbashed from DAZ and imported into C4D, If found the Razor Crest somewhere on the web (no readme) and had to rework and reshader it for C4D/Redshift. To celebrate may the 4th and the start of "The Mandalorian And Grogu" in a few days from now, I exported a Mando from DAZ and added it. Some tweaks compared to the 2019 version and new postwork.

@sfbibliomane@troet.cafe Ist schon klar. Es geht um die potentiellen Möglichkeiten, die Daten in die neue Applikation zu übertragen bzw. zu konvertieren.
Wirf mal einen Blick auf GS Bücher-Verwaltung. Das kann csv-Dateien importieren (man muss die Felder manuell mappen) und angeblich kann das die Coverbilder entweder via ISBN automatisch aus Online-Datenbanken ziehen, oder alternativ auch per drag&drop einfügen, falls das nicht klappt. Das habe ich allerdings auch gerade nur so im Rahmen einer Suche gefunden, ich habe keine Erfahrung mit der Software. Falls Du Linux nutzen kannst ist möglicherweise auch Tellico eine Option.

"AI Music"
Revisiting an older render.
I want to get away from Photoshop, that I used for over 20 years, so my muscle memory and workflows are tied to it very much. Things I do in Photoshop in seconds take me minutes in other software. In addition I have some paid plugins that I want to still use in the future. I was suggested GIMP multiple times, but I cannot use GIMP, I tried it again and again for many, many years and I get aggressive after seconds using it. I think after all these years the UX is still horrible (ymmv). But I like Krita.
So: I first open the rendered image in RapidRAW as a replacement for Camera Raw to make basic postwork, that works great. Then I open the image in Krita and use some of the tools there. I installed a Krita plugin that is able to open a Krita layer in an external application. I Installed my Photoshop Plugins in Affinity 3. I do not want to use Affinity 3 itself extensively, because of Canva and their fishy licenses and AI bullshit. But as a plugin proxy I think it's okay. So I do the changes I want in Alien Skin Exposure X2, save the image and close Affinity, which brings the image back to Krita as a new layer. Great!
That is close to my Photoshop workflow without too much relearning, nearly as fast and in addition I found some very nifty features in Krita that I do not have in Photoshop.
So it may be possible for me to ditch Photoshop at last.

@libreoffice There is a quite common bug in Impress that creates a bright white flash between slides in tranistions. That is unfixed for over a decade, it's very annoying and it prevents people from switching from PowerPoint to Impress. This needs to be addressed, if LibreOffice really wants to be an alternative to MS Office. I siggested LibreOffice to multiple people and I do not look good if this bug comes up, and it comes up often.

Da steht 4 Euro und nachdem ich payPal abgewickelt habe sehe ich plus sechs Euro. Das ist auch rechtlich gefährlich, weil die Versandkosten erst hinterher dazu gerechnet werden. Als jemand, der sich beruflich mit der Einrichtung von Onlineshops befassen muss weiß ich, dass sowas von Mitbewerbern oder bösartigen Abmahntrollen gern abgemahnt wird. Die korrekte Vorgehensweise sollte sein, dass erst der Warenkobr/Kasse angezeig5t wird und man da dann den Versand auswählen kann, damit der Gesamtbetrag angezeigt wird, bevor man zur Zahlung schreitet. Im Moment gehe ich ja mit 4 Euro zu PayPal und danach sehe ich, dass der Preis höher ist.
Ich hab mit Webflow noch nicht gearbeitet, deswegen kann ich leider nicht sagen, wie man das da zusammenfummeln muss ...

Project "Ditch Photoshop": What I really miss in alternatives is content aware heal or replace, since I very (!) often have to retouch or remove minor details (and clone stamp is not good enough or takes way too much time). But actually there is a plugin for Krita that lets me use a local AI algorithm server for exactly this use case. Installed: works. Only drawback ist that I have to run the render machine if I want to use it, since that is the only one with a powerful enough GPU. On the othe5r hand, I can use the server on that machine from any computers in the local network, be it from office, living room or laptop.
Another thing is "select object" and/or "remove background". There's a plugin for that, but it was not yet updated for Krita 5.3/6.

The Skytrains are back!
She remembered the Skytrains from when she was a kid. They were the symbol of the workers and their unions. When the Colonial Suppression Units took over, they became the symbol of resistance. The CSU won and the Skytrains vanished for many, many years. Then the rebels found them stashed away and were able to steal them from under the CSU's noses. They again became a symbol of rebellion and freedom.
And now they were flying freely again.

I did a thing:
I come from Cinema 4D and migrated to #Blender because I was unhappy that Maxon (the company behind C4D) became evil. But I always struggled with the way Blender lets me assign materials to objects and in my opinion this could be more user friendly. I looked for an addon for a few months but found nothing I was really happy with.
So I decided to create one myself. And so MatBrowser4D saw the day of light. This is brand new.
