@Jeremiah@alpaca.gold I can imagine. Any car is required by law to carry the paperwork to declare an accident as well. And they can share it with other users. So "next time this happens" ask for identification, fill the forms, etc. If you need to claim insurance later on for whatever reason, it'll help

@Jeremiah@alpaca.gold you could have requested their identification. In France it's strictly prohibited for cyclists to use the sidewalk, at a few exceptions (clearly called out by signs or painting). Hopefully nothing serious in terms of injuries for you.

I connect to every car to get maps, music etc... As I do so, I'm under the impression the car system imports some of my phone information. So every time I'm done with a car, I take the time to remove my phone from the car, and vice versa. But what would happen if I didn't? Some of my data stays with the car?

@shanselman@hachyderm.io I think @deltakosh@graphics.social did something similar over a decade ago for a demo: intercepting keys before they get to another program so he could pretend to type code super fast during the demos. Maybe he could help?
