@MattHatton@aus.social simple answer? Yes. In reality, it’s really complicated. The prosecution still needs to prove each element of the offence “beyond a reasonable doubt“, and BRS will be entitled to a presumption of innocence as they do so. Findings made in other courts may be used in places but cannot* support – in the absence of other evidence – a specific finding in a criminal trial that something did or did not happen. And even then, it’s even more complicated than that! *for the sake of this post.

@corduroy@aus.social that looks cool. I’ve signed up, just waiting for the link / app now.

@corduroy@aus.social still nothing hmm. Have tried to sign up again but getting a timeout error from your site. Could be my connection, but it’s usually pretty good here

@corduroy@aus.social 😊

@corduroy@aus.social turns out it was both. I used my usual Apple account email forgetting that TestFlight still likes my old one, and the site was also glitching.

@corduroy@aus.social are you taking feedback / feature requests yet? 😜

@corduroy@aus.social seeing widget update issues (app says 53mg, widget says 57mg). Also: do you prefer feedback via mastodon or elsewhere? Edit: opening the app a couple of times seems to fix it.

@corduroy@aus.social widget update speed / accuracy remains my biggest grumble. Otherwise … perhaps a custom “add” for things that aren’t in the drinks list? #piccoloApp

@corduroy@aus.social excellent, thanks!

@jimbob@aus.social @liamvhogan@aus.social does Benford’s Law apply?
