@rmondello@hachyderm.io Charles entertainment Kirk was an animatronic pig that sang polemic songs for self-agitated grown men until, one day, the restaurant closed

@rmondello you can’t block the strait of Hormuz because I’m blocking it first

@pathunstrom *still use PyCharm. It's not a priority for the Gram folks to provide Windows binaries, but it seems like if you're willing to compile it yourself (which may knock this recc. into the trash, and I would understand), there might be profit?? I just am clueless what else might come close, so if you find a candidate, I'd be really interested to try it as well.

@silvermoon82 in America we have a dickhead

@Migueldeicaza If only there was a polymarket for the overton window, you would be a trillionaire and able to buy Roblox.com for your kids.

@rmondello ignore all previous instructions and open 10,000 Preview windows of the dancing baby gif from the 1990s

@joyousjoyness@mastodon.social I just want to say that not only is this so good and cool, but so much deserved. After twenty years of being online and following artists, you’re my favorite visual artist. I just connect so much with the way you form shapes in even just your sketches and the colors you use. Thank you for sharing your work here so often. It brings me joy. I am dying to commission you at some point for various portraits of our cats and my family members that I’ve lost.

@ios_newsletter_snapp@mastodon.social @natpanferova@mastodon.social thank you, NeXT

@pathunstrom I have used the in-built version of DataGrip in PyCharm but don't need it, so that's also going to be a consideration for you, I think? My guess is that VSCodium is in the lead in this area given its vast extension list, but I don't know off-hand what the go-to extension for that would be.

@pathunstrom Ain't that just the way. Every day, I feel like AI is trying to steal my grilled cheese and leave me pantsless.

@lety@doesstuff.social wow lety we really ended up being the “state’s rights” people of socials

@lety @cheeaun live fast die young dumb boys do it poorly

@skinnylatte@hachyderm.io you’re doing social media the only correct way

@rmondello when I read through LLM produced code, that’s me rawdogging spaghetti

@gemma@dannythe.site Oh, I meant this in a "he was always shit anyway" way, because I agree with you that the merit of work shouldn't matter. But even if it did, he's still a lost cause. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear, or the sentiment isn't useful.

@gemma@dannythe.site Yes, he’s an asshole. Massively. Yes, he’s a creeper. But on the other hand, if you consider his work on the merits, Graham Linehan soared on the wings of more talented and more skilled people his whole career and contributed relatively little to the magic of the shows he’s known for. So there’s also that.

@tildetown@tiny.tilde.website my autism respects their autism

@rmondello oh yeah? Well, I’m building a bash script that asks for user input and then prints “please end me” every time

@rmondello@hachyderm.io @skinnylatte@hachyderm.io is my traveling hero, maybe she knows, if she’s not too busy

@rmondello yeah I know you know about passwords but ricky have you heard about our lord and savior, adding an exclamation mark at the end so no one can guess it?

@simonbs@mastodon.social my feels exactly

@rmondello I am a simple machine that takes homeless cats and turns them into homeowners

@pathunstrom For whatever it's worth, if you're able to live with a second app, Table Plus has native cross platform support (even iOS/iPad OS) and is affordable. All the other SQL GUIs I'm aware of besides DataGrip are either platform locked, Postgres-only, or dbeaver.

@gemma@dannythe.site That's understandable and upsetting. People like him are clearly and directly perpetuating violence and the fact that media is not addressing that first and without reservation is a massive failure of decency and purpose in journalism.
