mastodon 4.8.0-nightly.2026-10-06Save a family from Gaza.
I am Talal, a father of four children.
This war has left us with no hope.

My elderly aunt never married and has no one to support her.
She lost her eyeglasses under the rubble of the house and can barely see now.
She urgently needs new glasses to manage her simple daily needs.
Please, from kind hearts, help her 🙏💔

From the land of Palestine, and from the Church of the Nativity—the birthplace of the message of peace—
we extend Christmas greetings to all people around the world.
We pray that the coming year brings true peace,
that suffering ends, especially in Gaza,
and that love and justice prevail among humanity.
Merry Christmas,
and a year of peace and prosperity for all.
I am a mother without a home.
The tent does not protect us from the freezing cold, and my children sleep cold and afraid.
Every rainfall terrifies me that our last shelter will collapse.
We are asking for a caravan to live in safety — nothing more.
Please help us before winter breaks us.

This winter is crushing us.
The rain seeps in, and my children shiver from the cold while I hold them, unable to keep them warm.
There is no pain deeper than a mother watching her children suffer and having nothing to protect them with.
If anyone can offer warmth or help, please don’t leave us alone tonight.

These days, many viruses are spreading, and sadly my children have been affected.
One illness after another, and their little bodies are too weak to recover easily.
As a mother, my heart aches watching them suffer while I struggle to provide proper treatment.
Please keep them in your prayers. May God protect every sick child and ease their pain.

My children are hungry, and I have nothing to give them.
Food aid arrived, but I’m standing helpless.
$53 can save my children from hunger today.
If you can help us, please don’t leave us alone.

> Gas has finally arrived, but until now I haven’t received any.
I am exhausted from lighting fires every day; the smoke has affected my eyes, and the fatigue has become unbearable.
We are living through suffering that may seem simple, but it is deeply exhausting and cruel.
I ask for help from anyone who can assist.

In light of the disaster we are going through these days due to the severe weather system and freezing cold,
we have not received any assistance for some time.
I hope kind and compassionate hearts will help us so we can get through what we are facing.

I am a mother living with my children in a tent, and the holiday is approaching…
My heart aches because I cannot buy Eid clothes or even small toys for my children.
All I wish is to see them happy like other children.
If anyone can help us, even with something small, I would be truly grateful.

> We lived a terrifying day.
The tarp was torn away, and everything we own was soaked in water.
I couldn’t capture the frightening moments because of the intense fear.
My children cried in fear from the sound of the strong wind and heavy rain.
We lost our bedding, blankets, and clothes — everything is wet.
This is our reality in Gaza today.
We urgently need help to protect our children from the cold.

> The rain didn’t stop at the edges of the tent…
All my children’s blankets were soaked with water, and the cold broke their little bodies.
We spent the night trying to save whatever we could,
but the tent offers no protection, and winter is harsher than we can bear.
My children need warmth and safety, and I am a mother standing helpless in front of their pain.

A few days ago, I asked for help, and nothing has changed.
We are still living in a tent that does not protect us, and the cold grows harsher every night.
My children sleep surrounded by thin fabric and freezing air.
A caravan is not a luxury for us—it is safety and dignity.
Maybe resharing this message will reach a heart that can help.
Thank you for reading.

Alhamdulillah, and thanks to your kindness,
we were finally able to get new glasses for my aunt after she lost hers under the rubble.
Thank you to everyone who supported us, even with a single word
Sadly, my aunt is also suffering from chest asthma, and her condition is difficult.
She urgently needs treatment, and any help — even a little — can make a difference.
May God reward everyone who stands with us.
