I had a dream last night where my dog jumped off a 3-storey balcony to her death.
I've been having mini-panic attacks reliving that dream all day. It's very disconcerting.
The dog is fine, btw. Seriously, she's living her best life.
I've been reviewing my Steam library with an eye on the games that I have purchased but have never played.
The only reasonable conclusion is that I enjoy purchasing games far, far more than I enjoy playing games.

Also Linux: The 25yr old program is installed, but it needs a dependency that hasn't been maintained since 2005, but there is a Github of some random guy who forked it and it only requires 16 esoteric bash commands to install, 1.5 hours to compile, and then AHHHH AHHHH AHHHH.
Or, I could just use the modern equivalent software that's already in the package manager.

This particular mini was kind of an "extra" model that I ended up with that I thought to experiment with. I have another that I'm going to try the base-coat/highlight approach, so we'll see which I like better.
I'm expecting my Salamanders CP box to arrive to form the basis of my army and the serious painting will begin. I have a 1k list planned out based on that box that should be decent; I can't wait to play an actual game. lol
Whilst I am looking for a bit darker green to my 'manders, I really love the Salamanders you've displayed on your feed. They look fantastic in the photos.

Dreams are weird, and I don't normally share them. But this one was particularly weird. I was able to end the dream before anything... final... happened, but it was traumatic.
I shared this story with my kids to demonstrate that dreams only have the power that we give them.
